Yup.  Think he's had 2 cases against him.  One was dismissed after the complainant suddenly changed her story, but not sure if the second one stuck.  He was cut by the Niners following the charges being filed.

Not a guy I would particularly feel good about adding - even though he would fill a need.

I’m okay with having LBs on the team that are violent, or a little crazy upstairs. 

As long as Zach honors his commitments and/or always repays his air fare.

If he's put his legal troubles behind him he could be a nice addition to a young team looking to grow.

Foster hasn’t played in an NFL game since Oct. 28, 2018

He was REALLY good in 2017. Probably a POS but from a football perspective an interesting name if he gets signed.

I think he knows his team is short on veteran guys on defense after losing Lawson and davis, and he’ll look anywhere cheap to try to fix it.

Agree.

IMO this is more then Saleh just helping a former player of his out.  Foster is actually a very good NFL player at a position of need.  Very fast football speed, violent hitter, non  stop motor.  Fits Saleh's system perfect.

The downside.

Off an ACL.  Hard to say how it's affected his speed.

A litany of personal problems.   Two domestic violence charges.  Very odd circumstances.  Not sure if he is guilty or not.  IMO that interprets into giving him the benefit of the doubt.

 A weapons charge, and a pot bust.  Yeah, guys got  history.  Because of his good play on the field I'm going to leave the character judgements to Saleh.  He knows him.

If the knee is healed this is a guy who can help very quickly.

So he had a VD as long as it wasn’t the herps , he should be fine…

From what I've read when he was being drafted, guy is a well liked, positive presence in the locker room.  That's probably one of the reasons Saleh brought him in for a talk.

We'll see what happens, but if Saleh is good with him, so am I.

Foster was born to Inita Berry Paige and Danny Foster on April 4, 1994. His parents were estranged in November 1995 when Foster shot Paige in the back. She was holding her 18-month-old son, Reuben Foster.[63] Danny Foster was indicted by a grand jury in 1996 but fled the state before being arrested in California. He was extradited to Randolph County but escaped from jail in December 1996. He took on a new identity in Miami but was arrested after spending 16 years on the run and was extradited to Randolph County, Alabama.[64][65] Foster has a daughter, A‘Zyia, who was born in 2009.[66][67]

Legal issues
On January 13, 2018, Foster was arrested in Alabama by the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office for possession of marijuana.[68] On February 11, 2018, Foster was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, threats, and assault weapon possession charges.[69] On April 12, he was charged with felony counts of multiple domestic violence, possession of a weapon, and infliction of bodily harm.[70] On April 25, Foster's girlfriend through her lawyer made a statement saying “(Foster) did not strike her, injure her or threaten her,” and that the domestic violence claims were made after Foster attempted to end the relationship after she told him her injuries resulted from a fight with another woman.[71] On May 17, Elissa Ennis testified under oath that she had fabricated the story "as a money scheme".[72]

On November 24, 2018, Foster was arrested again on probable cause misdemeanor domestic violence charges, and was released by the 49ers the following day.[73] Shortly after his release, he was claimed off waivers by the Washington Redskins, a move that was criticized by many.[74][75][76] In January 2019, the State Attorney's Office in Florida dropped the charges, claiming that there was insufficient evidence against Foster after reviewing the case.[77]
