I have no idea what the injury is, but by the way he appeared to be showing Beck what happened on the sideline, it looks like he tore/broke something and can’t feel properly around his wrist/hand.

Just seems weird not to immobilize it(?)

How bad could the injury be if he’s sitting on the sidelines, tossing a football around, and not wearing an air cast?

Probably an ulnar nerve injury based on the distribution in how he's pointing on his arm and three fingers [pinky, ring, middle...] Probably was hit in the elbow and the swelling / stunning of the nerve doesn't allow him to grip or feel that part of his hand. Might not be painful, but it's completely non-functional at this point. That's what I would assume, at least.

I'm wondering why if there are two Qbs on the roster who can run the offense then why he started the season

And Im also wondering why if every QB besides him can operate the offense why people are hysterically insisting he starts again asap.
