Popular Post Rhg1084
If you’re not in on the Zach Wilson bandwagon by now there’s no more room for you. It’s obvious the kid is a star. Fix the offensive line and this offense will flourish 20 4 1

Money on 3rd down, orchestrated a really nice comeback and made some crazy good throws. Haters can take their precious stat line and f*** off, kid passed the eye test today. 8 2
GreenFish
Honestly, good for him. I jumped off the bandwagon though. FQB don't look that lost. But got to be happy we won the game and he showed resilience. We saw the talent but also a lot of the bad that held him back last year. Edit: Went back and rewatched the game. My emotions got the better of me. Zach played ok and was lights out in the 4th quarter. I was frustrated with the stagnant play in 2nd and 3rd and blamed Zach. 6

Popular Post nycdan
Given that a number of his 'incompletions' were drops and at least one of his 2 INTs was a bad tip, I'd say he had a pretty damned good day. 16 2

SuicidalSince98
Never ******* gives up. Every QB has bad stretches. Look at Trevor Lawrence and his first 20 throws last week- abysmal. Wilson hasn’t played in 8 weeks and was playing behind the worst OL in NFL history

Popular Post UntouchableCrew
Honestly he made some big time throws throughout the game. He has great arm talent and had some clutch strikes where he put the ball perfectly where it needed to be. Consistency and some of the easy stuff is what he needs to clean up. Considering the long layoff and the atrocious o-line play I thought he did well for himself. 15
Popular Post rbstern
I'm a Wilson fan, but the issue is consistency. There are ton of guys who can lead great drives, have one great game (Mike White, you out there?). The difference between those guys and franchise QBs is the ability to do it week in, week out. It's early yet. He shouldn't be either condemned or crowned. The body of work is still too small to know if he's "the guy." 11 2
Popular Post carlito1171
I think Zach has a lot of things he needs to clean up before he calls himself a franchise QB.....BUT I give him a ton of credit for the Guts he showed on those 2 drives to lead the team down the field despite the drops and patchwork OL... Im not a Zach apologist but he earned my respect for that performance on the road in Pittsburgh

Popular Post OtherwiseHappyinLife
Play to his strengths as a rhythm passer. This run on first down for 1-2 yards does him NO favors. When he doesn’t think or manage and he just plays, you see the talent. Now it’s up to the coaches to realize this! 7 1

Flea Flicking Frank
For his first game action this year, with that O line, he showed something. He needs to stay in the pocket longer and stop with these ridiculous scrambles. Keep your eyes down field. I made comment in the game thread about short yardage passing and after he looked like much better, however, that area needs to improve above all else imo. Bottom Line…..The Kid has serious serious arm talent, talent that can Not be taught, which is the Reason he was the 2nd pick in the Nation. The reason Joe Douglas supposedly had a smile (under his mask) that never left the entire time he watched him work out Live before the draft. There will be more bumps in the road going forward, but you can see that he can light it up at Any time and bring his team to victory. I know some naysayers will claim that the Steelers of this year are no good, but that in no way diminishes Wilson’s quick comeback with all the chips on the table on multiple “do or die” downs, playing in one of the most hostile environments for any visiting team in pro sports. I’ll also throw in that many of his OL were either 5th stringers or playing out of position. Again, today showed WHY he was drafted where he was, and I’m glad the Jets selected him. 7

Popular Post BCJet
Zach has a lot to cleanup in his game, mainly the short throws that he is inaccurate with and drills as the receiver, hes gotta to work on his touch. That being said, his ability to drive the football accurately down the field is elite. He can work the middle of the field with precision and push the ball outside the hashmarks, forcing the defense to have to cover the entire field which is very rare. Great performance in the clutch as well. If he has any sort of legitimate OL with these receivers we are going to be able to score points. I dont know what happens with the line now that we lost Mitchell but hopefully Duane Brown can play for the next few weeks while fant gets healthy and then we can start to solidify the group. All in all, great performance from zach 5 3
