Hall and AVT gone for the year.....Jets will now pile up the losses and maybe win 2 more game the rest of the season

How about we wait and see how the team responds before  a declaration the sky is falling.

It's is the NY Jets who have been winning and while hall and AVT are a big piece of it,  they are definitely not all of it.

Maybe.

That's why they play the games.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves just yet (IMO).

The Pats are beatable this year, even with our losses.

If we lose that one, maybe we can start to panic.

I agree with this... A lot of posters get so emotionally reactive to every bit of news.

The defense is still near 100% healthy. And Michael Carter was a 100 yard per game back last year..

It would seem that it would be harder to recover in game like in Denver after these injuries than after a week of preparation. Jets can get another RB from the open market or PS with Bam. They could use Berrios even more with runs like Jets sweeps, end arounds, etc. as well as other WRs like Wilson, Moore, etc. on some of those plays. On Oline they are getting some other players back. This team can still run and pass, and with this D and Special Teams they likely will still be very good.

Let’s see what happens.

losing those two hurts. Now let’s see how the coaches game plan without them.

I doubt they are just rolling over and throwing in the towel.

maybe a bit more leaning on the passing game. Maybe a more active/mobile Zach out of the pocket.

let’s see

Jets, no doubt, have had the worst luck with injuries of any NFL team.

always at or near the top every season ..with injuries

This season…it was trending in a positive direction, ...even with our QB out for the first few games.

back to being the most snakebitten team in the NFL.  Incredible bad luck.

Our defense is still tops in the league so I’m not that worried. Plus Zach will take off and lead this offense. Fant, Max Mitchell and Elijah Moore will all be back too

Exactly! Our defense is healthy right now and San Fran always seemed to do ok with the ton of injuries they had. 2 players do not make a football team although they are 2 pretty important players. This team is young and hungry and they don’t know any better. Jets will be fine.

Yep,  I'm with the Denver thing and the Jets still eeked out 6 - 9 points without hall,  avt and CD while the D locked things down.

I'm also with your game planning comment and would add getting the TE's more involved with ball movement.
