Aaron Rodgers wants to play 4 more years

I wouldn't bet against it, if he can avoid getting hurt again.  He's still in great shape and his arm and football brain are still sharp.

If Brady can play into his mid 40s, so can Rodgers.

Yes, I always rely on the singular exception to the rule too.

I've been saying this in other threads for some time now. He is basically operating as an owner and will get to choose a replacement GM/HC if the current ones he's buddies with fail this year. With the kind of $ he's making and the ego he has....I'd be shocked if he played less than 3 years.

is he supposed to say “I’m cooked, maybe I have a year or two left.”?

assuming he stays healthy, we’ll likely get this year and next, from there, it’ll be a we’ll see how it goes situation.

There is no level of deception and narcissism that this man will not stoop to in order to scare the team off from drafting his replacement and cementing his control of nearly every facet of the organization. He has a documented history of such and is only rivaled in his mania by Buck Showalter, who in his days in Arizona and Baltimore, inserted himself into every area in which he had no business poking his nose into including what was displayed on the scoreboard, music played at the stadium and even the way the parking lot was set up. We have an ego maniacal golem at the helm.

Solid messaging for potential free agents.  It’s a tough sell with a lame duck GM and staff if you add to that the perception that Rodgers is leaving after this season it’s a brutally tough sell.

Hopefully this helps him get some talent in here.

If the jets fall on their ass this year and is purged Rodgers will be purged as well.

Ugh, it just occurred to me that this could very well be just a ploy to get the Jets to not take a QB in the draft.

"I want weapinzz"

Lol exactly. “Get me Oline and receiver help now and you’ll increase your odds I play longer”
