Jaguars should get a head start on their 2024 head coaching search now.  After three 5-11 and 7-9 type seasons Urban will have another “heart condition” that will force him to quit.

I think this will either go very, very well or Meyer's out the door after 3 mediocre seasons as you stated.

That's great news.  Now the dominoes for the other openings can commence.  We should have our new coach by the weekend.

Gase? So there’s a chance!

Alright good news. Think it will come down to Smith or Saleh for the Jets. Brady is my Dark Horse. Can see them having a 2nd interview with him soon.

Will Meyer look to the college ranks for coordinators?  Maybe Tom Herman who still is out there?

Also, with the number of times he's left jobs due to "health reasons" can you be that comfortable

as a JAX fan that he'll last?

Wonder if Saban gets the itch to go back...especially with them hiring O’Brien.

Meyer was a great college coach. It will be very interesting to see what he does in the pros. I think he will have success, but I’d worry about him burning out.

Over/under 2 years before he retires again? What an insane hire IMO.

0.0% chance of them taking Fields over Lawrence.

Unless Khan wants to keep the tarp on the upper deck.😎

Justin Fields to Jacksonville rumors

Who needs the second coming of John Elway when you can have the second coming of Geno Smith?

How many facts have you found lately beside stats?

I will likely be in the minority here, but I just have a feeling this thing crashes and burns in Jacksonville.

I agree, he stressed out on the college level where he had a huge talent advantage.  That's

not happening in the pros with cap restrictions

Should have been us.  Urban Meyer and Trevor Lawrence in NY.  But, we got 2 meaningless wins against the Rams and Browns which is sure to build us a great winning culture.

My initial reaction but hard to say.  Smith has interviews scheduled with just about every team, Saleh still has interviews planned, Texans have to wait on Bieniemy, anyone wanting to talk with coords. in the playoffs, guys like Staley and Daboll have to wait.

Still may have to wait longer

Yep, good point. Fields and Smith are  both black. The Jags gotta be careful

Comparing Smith to Fields is just too lazy.  And pointless.
