Lupz27
The real discussion for the week. We will find out how good this kid really is.

Drums
And Reed. Problem is Jefferson is a beast and I expect him to make plays and probably score a TD. If we can keep it to that, I’ll be happy with our CBs as long as the D shuts everyone else down. Give Cousins the D!
Seibelt
Just now, usanyj said: You can score on the Vikings defense, have to find a way to slow the offense. Could you ask for a better set up? Our strong defense against the mighty Vikings? Patriots almost beat them, we now have a better team than the Pats. Sauce didn’t look like a pro bowl corner in the rain, let’s see how he does in the dome. I like our chances. 3
Darnold's Forehead
If we can stop Dalvin Cook running and force Kirk to throw, I think the DL will pressure him. Jefferson is going to make plays regardless. Our defense needs to make 3rd down stops in clutch moments in order for White Lightning to bring the offense ahead.
David Harris
The move Jefferson all over the place. Worried about him in the slot or in a LBer zone. He’ll out jump DJ for sure.

Beerfish
We had better take special precautions against this dude or he will kill us. Please do not be like Todd Bowles and have no game plan for the other teams stars.
Lith
Last two years, Vikes are 5-9 when JJ is held under 100 yards. 12-2 when he goes over. We are not likely to shut him down completely, but if we can limit him, we have a great chance to win,
Larz
Sauce doesn’t follow. The entire pass defense better be ready because he’s red hot

Long Island Leprechaun
Quote The Vikes put up 33 on the Pats defense, which is very good as we know. Hopefully, Saleh and company will study that game and learn how to correct for the Pats' failings. Otherwise, White had better put up 30+ points if we're going to win it. Jetty
Sauce has to chill with all the holding. Even though he isn’t getting called for it now. 3
sackdance
I think our D is going to force some turnovers this week. Pivotal turnovers.
KRL
Ulbrich has mixed in a little more blitzing since the bye week. Against MIN he should break his pattern of having CBs stay on specific sides of the field. Gardner should follow Jefferson around the formation a certain percentage of the game. Also Gardner gave up ONE catch against CHI on Sunday, let's not act like he got burned

the Claw
I think I’m more worried about the defense this game than I am about the offense. Since they ironed out the communications earlier in the season they have been really good. They are, however, due for a stinker. Jefferson, Thielen, and Cook are serious players. I think the Jets win a close one, but we have to assume the Vikings will move the ball relatively well. I don’t think Sauce can shut down Jefferson, but if they can limit him, they have a real chance to win. The lbs and safeties have GOT to get their tackling in order or Cook will absolutely make them pay.

The league and coaches will start telling the refs to watch out for that.
static14
Get Cousins on his back more than a couple of times and Jefferson becomes less of a threat.

Jefferson is going to be difficult for whoever covers him and Cousins has been very good at getting the ball to him. They will wear him out with targets. He is going to get his. We just have to stop everyone else.

FidelioJet
This is going to be a massive challenge for the defense. That offense can score points.... Hold this team under 20 would be a major win.

JiFtheOracle
From what I've observed, nobody shadows anyone on this defense, it's whoever lines up in front of you and then it's all based on what route is run from there whether they pass off the receiver or play them man. JJ could see as much of Reed as Sauce, etc. the real trivia is, if he lines up in the slot, are you letting Carter guard him or is he going to change assignment for Reed or Sauce to cover him out of the slot? WeCantDraftGoodQBs
I think Sauce will limit Jefferson’s production . . . as the other poster “Frankie papa” already wrote being worried about Cook popping it to the outside, that too is my biggest fear right now against the Vikings after our bad tackling performance against the Bears. BigB
The only way to stop Jefferson is to keep sacking and pressuring Cousin. They also need to tackle RB to the ground better than the last couple of weeks. Offense needs to score a lot points and hopefully our receivers score multiple TDs again. Biggs
I love Sauce but I think he has been given the established star treatment by the officials. I can see him getting PI'd to death because Jefferson has established himself as a guy who makes contested catch's at a sick rate. Interesting matchup and I can see Sauce having a couple of big calls going against him.

92ShaunEllis92
He’s starting to get sloppy on his technique and holding/PI a fair amount lately compared to earlier in the season, but hasn’t drawn the penalty flags. Against Jefferson, he WILL get flagged going up against a legit NFL STAR. Hopefully he works on keeping clean technique and not reading is headlines.
