I hate to be a pessimist but I just heard something like 76 teams in the last decade started 0-3 and only 6 have made the playoffs.

I love the Jets and everything but nothing about this team says playoffs even with Darnold in the lineup. 

If you want to go on a run just for the sake of going on a run that’s one thing but if it’s not going to get us to the playoffs then it’s pointless.

1-2 Chargers
1-2 Browns
1-2 Titans

Hardly concerning at this point in the season.

Easiest Schedule in the NFL left... Worst Defenses in the league as well.. They could go on a great run.

That's a nice talking point.  How about this one:

2018 Colts (started 1-5, finished 10-6)
2018 Texans (started 0-3, finished 10-6)
2018 Ravens (lost 3 games in a row, finished 10-6)
2017 Bills (lost 3 games in a row, had a 1-4 stretch, finished 9-7)
2017 Titans (lost 3 games in a row, finished 9-7)
2017 Chiefs (lost 4 games in a row, finished 10-6)
2016 Dolphins (started 1-4, finished 10-6)
2016 Texans (lost 3 games in a row, finished 9-7)
2015 Chiefs (opened 1-5, finished 11-5)
2015 Texans (opened 1-4, finished 9-7)

In the last 4 seasons, 10 AFC playoff teams have had a stretch with at least 3 losses in a row, 5 of them opening 0-3, 1-4, or 1-5. 

So 10 of 24 playoff teams, or 42%, have been in the same situation or worse than the Jets are facing right now.

And require 3 different starting QB's in their 3 first games?  And have 7 starters in total go down by Game 2?  All we need to focus on are the wildcard standings.  Put up a few wins, all of a sudden we're back in it and have some confidence.  Soft part of the schedule awaits.  Getting to 7-6 shouldn't be an unreasonable goal.  And anything can happen in the last 3.
