The Jamal Adams syndrome.

Difference is I Simmons is 6’4 240 4.39 .  That’s a big man you can utilize in so many ways.   I hope he doesn’t make it to 12 because It would suck to pass on him.    A lb Corp of Cory Littleton , Nick Kwiatkoski, and I Simmons would be something special.     I would pass on any of the Wr’s at 12.( miss out on the big three).

If you are prepared to compromise your Defense and build it around one player than by all means.  If Jamal is as big of a factor as some jets fans think then Simmons should be going top 5 100% for sure because he is a bigger, faster version.

I have said it before teams are going to twig on these players with no real position that have to be let loose and these DTs that are runs stuffers do not make you win.

That was last year .    Return of Ss j Abrams ( last year number 1) Addition of Fs D Randall ( Jeff Heath third safety off the bench)  upgraded Lb corps Wlb ( C Littleton - premier cover lb) and Mlb Nick Kwiatkoski .   Upgraded the depth on defense line with Fa Dt Maliek Collins , and Fa De Carl Nassib..

let’s watch Mike Mayock work his magic tonight.  Who will be this year version of Maxx Crosby .   This formula tonight favors the Raiders as Mayock has all his sources and contacts he built up covering the NFL draft.

When you play in a division that has a lot of elite Te’s.  ( T Kelce, H Hunter, andN Fant) You better have someone that can neutralize them .  Corey Littleton can  do that, but you like to have more options. I Simmons would give you another player who can match up if a team has two Good Te’s.

Every year for the last 15 years.

I'll save sally some time here...

If they played for the raiders last year, they sucked.

If they played for the raiders 2 years ago or more, they sucked or were traded away.

^^^Raiders recent history summed up in 2 sentences

Hey Raiderholic!  Just want to say that I always appreciate your presence on here.  Out of curiosity, though, I've always wondered how you ended up a semi-regular on a Jets forum.

how are trades going to happen virtually? i doubt teams will want to do that unless they agreed beforehand

Teams normally have a frame work for trades worked out before hand.  Then if a player they want is there they make the call.

Lol do you think a GM drives over to another GMs house to discuss a trade normally? Every trade in NFL draft history has been made “virtually”

The Texans and head coach/general manager Bill O’Brien haven’t been afraid to make deals this offseason, and they might not be done just yet. Houston, whose first pick currently sits at No. 40 overall, has called teams with an eye towards moving back into the first round, as Dianna Russini of ESPN.com tweets.

Watching Chris Ballard last year (he allowed cameras in his room which was then aired after the draft), they literally just talk on the phone and then call it in to the league. There should be no difference in terms of trades.

Ballard literally made a trade after talking to a gm for a minute or so. I was shocked.

Back in 1876 Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone.  Since then it's been upgraded quite a bit.  I hope that catches you up.

WTF is a phone?????

You know that thing you carry around to search the internet, play games and watch porn on?  It turns out there is an app you can use to speak to other people (voice only, no video).  Yes it's barbaric but sometimes it comes in handy.

Even cooler, I hear the Apple Watch has an app that lets you see what time it is.  On your wrist!  Brilliant!
