We saw the offense work just fine with Mike White. So, we don't have to guess who the issue. Everyone in the stadium is booing one person. All but a handful of Jets see it.

IMO, the problem isn’t running it too much, but constantly running it out of the shotgun. If the defense isn’t worried about the passing game, they can just tee off on the back.

This is why you need a guy who can play within the system and complete passes. The defense let's up a pretty long drive, then the offense  goes out and punts pretty quickly. That's not complimentary football at all.

True, and LaFleur is not deserving of any exemptions for his own job, but he also has literally nothing to do with Wilson earning his way onto the "all time busts" list as some others here have suggested.

Nick Foles would still also be far better than anything the Jets have gotten out of the position since perhaps the "good" position of the Fitzpatrick cycle of 2015.  LaFleur would have erotic dreams about a guy like Foles.
