How's defending every decision the Jets braintrust makes working out for you? Lots of successes to report?

You guys made the same mistake in the draft. You picked sides dug in and argued about it with strangers.

I was a little bummed when I heard the news but the more qualified voices have been positive about the hire and that's a good thing

You have to admit the knee jerk crybaby stuff has been way over the top, even for jets fans

The thing that is really irksome is that rhule did not get the job because he wanted freedom to bring in his guys and not have it dictated to him especially the oc, then the let gase bring in this fellow?

Gase is the offensive coordinator. Loggains is Gase's assistant. Not apples to apples.

You guys realize that Gase is running the offense right?

For what it’s worth- Orvlovski on Espn was saying how he hoped Gase would bring this guy with him because he’s very innovative...

As OC for the Bears  (after Gase went to Miami) he ran that offense into the ground for two years. He’d be a very uninspired hire regardless of who’s calling the plays

If we hired this guy as some random offensive assistant or passing game coordinator no one would even know he existed. Gase is the OC. This guy is his assistant in that role. Nothing more, nothing less.

The panic over every decision this team makes is comical.

If we brought  back Kacy Rodgers as our DC, THEN there were be grounds for a mutiny.

isn't gase the coach who kept calling crossing patterns, exposing the jets LBs who weren't prepared for that?

Well, this guy doesn't look like he's getting laid anytime soon....so maybe his focus is purely football.

That's gotta be a plus....right?

If this were true, then the Jets should track down FF2 and get him on the staff ASAP.

Helicopter Fans. It’s just a continuation of sociatal changes in the new world we live in. We hover over our kids and now we are hovering over every single step our team makes.

Regardless of who has what responsibilities on the offense, it is ultimately the same one-two punch that just finished failing on offense in Miami, so it's hardly unreasonable to not want to see the repetition of past mistakes.

I really hope this bum stays in Miami. Please give us someone who can actually dish out some good ideas to Gase and not just play translator. Then again with Gase’s personality, he might not even want someone who challenges his game planning.

If we hire a borderline psycho alpha in Williams as DC that impresses me about Gase.  So would bringing in an actual OC who could call plays if necessary and challenge the game planning.  Shows confidence and maturity...
