There have now been reports Gase doesn’t like Bell, Mosley, Williams, and Darnold. Honestly if all this is true and you didn’t like the teams QB and offseason strategy why take the job? Also-Gase had zero shot at getting Darnold (who was a top 3 lock) so why would Gase spend a lot of time scouting him? 5 1

Popular Post F00tballGuy69
This is ridiculous. If Gase didn't like Darnold, he wouldn't have come here. thshadow
LOL. This opinion piece (i.e. not a reporting piece) making fun of Gase says: Quote To be fair, Gase wasn’t a fan of new Dolphins quarterback Josh Rosen, either. He was a fan of the two quarterbacks the Dolphins brought in for interviews ahead of that draft: Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen. Hmmm, so the Dolphins drafting 11th didn't bring in Darnold for a visit. The QB who was likely going #1, but clearly woudn't get past the Jets. Yeah, the only reason he didn't use one of his limited visits with him is because ... he thinks he's terrible. What a brilliant conclusion. And then Gase took the Jets job despite that, because ... he loves DTs? The Jets have so much else going for them? 3

Someone find and article in the history of Miami media that has ever liked anything on the Jets. The hate for NY, the Jets down here is huge. Look at the article. How goes he know Gase didn't like Darnold? Because everyone knew? Thanks, very informative He didn't bring the QB who everyone assumed would go to one of the first 3 teams picking, brought in the 3rd and 4th ranked QBs? Might fall to the fins or get close enough to trade up for? No shlt, good move too bring those 2 in.

WowOhWow
This is most likely crap. But truth be told, with what's happened around Gase recently I'd say there's a 50/50 chance this is true. This is what you get when you have a psycho as your HC. You never know what's fact and fiction. Imagine having to follow this guy. Just remember - Gase has done nothing other than be Peyton's caddie. As a HC he was a disaster. Alienated all his talent. Doing it again here. 1

T0mShane
FWIW, it’s the “Richmond Times-Dispatch” and this is one of the most poorly articulated columns I’ve ever seen come to print. This is his “sourcing”: You know, the quarterback the Jets took with the No. 3 pick. The one now career-married to Gase. To be fair, Gase wasn’t a fan of new Dolphins quarterback Josh Rosen, either. He was a fan of the two quarterbacks the Dolphins brought in for interviews ahead of that draft: Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen. And how do I know this? Because everyone around the Dolphins knew it. Because it was widely dispersed after that draft for why the Dolphins didn’t get a quarterback when everyone knew they needed a quarterback.
