Popular Post JetsFanatic
I give Joe D. a lot of credit. Don't know if these moves will payoff but he isn't sitting on his ass, he is trying to take the edge off of the poor drafting over the years that have left us devoid of talent in some key areas. 6 1
bealeb319
We didn't give much up so I am not unhappy I'm not sure we will get much out of the guy though and it keeps other young receivers from playingSent from my LGUS991 using JetNation.com mobile app
prime21
Pats are so bored they figured they would get a pick from us for a player they don't want or need. They also like the fact that Thomas will help the Jets with info for the week 3 match-up and look to destroy us for it.

peekskill68
Thomas was likely going to remain inactive cheap insurance until Gordon fails a pee test or Brown punches out McDaniels. It's probably a fair trade for both sides... 1

All of a sudden matchups become more favorable. Pray this is what Gase is thinking with this move. Q is a wasted asset playing only on the outside. The schematic domino effect of this can be positive if Gase does it right. And then Darnold is sacked 2

Popular Post HawkeyeJet
I wanted a big bodied WR for the Red Zone all offseason. He adds something (especially with Herndon out) that the offense doesn't have. Low risk move. I don't mind it at all. His best days are past him, but he can still make the offense better. My question now is if another WR moves out to fill a different gap. 5

Pats had a surplus at WR. Jets had to do a 6th instead of the 7th the Pats would have taken from any other team. Why would the Pats help the Jets? Because the Jets won't be a threat over the next couple years.

FlightBoyz
Gotta give JD a full season with the organization before anyone starts bashing him. He obviously knows where the weaknesses are & is trying to fix it. Ofcourse he's gonna make mistakes along the way. Let's hope his 2 big pick ups Kalil n Thomas pan out. 2

What I'm saying is that Joe Douglas never should have entertained the thought of a trade with the Patriots. Unless he just fleeced Bill Belichick, we just bought a rusty Chevy from the Ford dealer across the street who does twice the volume and is making us the target of those put-down commercials. I don't care what others think or what the media spins but I do believe that today's negativity atop Sunday's negativity is creating an avalanche of distraction that's going to make winning on Monday even harder on ourselves than it already was. We may lose Fireman Ed over this. SAR I 2

Creepy Lurker
I bet that this 6th rounder that we gave them, turns into the next Brady 6th round steal. This will coincide with Brady retiring and we can start the cycle all over again. The superstition alone makes this an insane trade. 1 1
