HawkeyeJet
Said this in a thread a few days ago, but 8 months ago tons of people were slurping Dorsey for spending all the money and using all the picks Sashi Brown accumulated. Brown was widely panned. Funny how quickly things can change in the NFL.
Popular Post Pac
So the Coughlin, Caldwell, Marrone model didn't work? and now Dorsey isn't a stable genius anymore? but so many people kept saying how envious we should be of those franchises... It's a miracle that our JV team finished with a better record than both of them. 8

UnitedWhofans
People kept saying that the Browns were in "such a better place" than the Jets. That has completely turned around.

Popular Post jetstream23
What were the odds that a Gase-Douglas tandem would outlast Kitchens-Dorsey and the Browns would be drafting ahead of the Jets this year? Landry, OBJ, Nick Chubb, Njoku....around Baker Mayfield and the Jets still end up with a better record after all the Jets injuries and a month-long bout of Mononucleosis? Crazy.

Jetster
It's a good time to have some stability. Having the 2nd best record in the last 8 games (6-2) having our new more respected GM in place with the same coach is a great way to go into the New Year. Go Jets! 2

Adoni Beast
Gase earned a shot at 2020 with the inherited roster, the injuries, the 6-2 second half, and helping recover Darnold from near career meltdown (NE/JAX games were baaad). I just hope the owners and front office are ready to move on if Gase face plants once the built-in excuses are gone next year. 2 1

Dorsey has brought in the talent. Like to see him here in some FO position. Browns are the NFL's most unstable franchise. And you wonder why Brian Rhule said "no thanks".

A couple on this thread admiring the way the Browns operate. So don't assume sarcasm.
Jimmy 2 Times
Imo, his downfall was his choice in coach, not his choice in player personnel. Hard to believe he'd risk his job hiring a first time coach that has barely any experience. This isn't me piling on Baker, but I wonder if how much input he had in the Kitchens hire? Was he in Dorsey's office begging for the Kitchen hire or even demanding it? 1
