Jetster
This is the kind of hire that makes you go hmm. The good old boy league. Shottenheimer would be nothing without Russell Wilson’s magic. No different than McDaniel without Brady. As a Jet fan, I’m so sick of being without a franchise QB. 3 1
rangerous
Schitty did a great job with Sanchez and the Wilson so of course he deserves to coach a generational talent. 1
Popular Post Adoni Beast
Brian Schottenheimer is the prince that was promised to Jets Land. The trojan horse mission is in full effect. Operation Bust Lawrence for us missing out on him has just reached Phase III: Level 5. As previously discussed at our last meeting... Phase III: Level 5 will have Schotty teaching Teabag (Trevor‘s new nickname) the art of the fullback flank pass. Yardage gains for 1+ and -2 will instill the insecurity that Teabag has what it takes to throw down the field. Phase III: Level 6 will be further discussed at our next meeting. It will include the lack of footwork preparation, ducking of the head during a blitz, and running backwards in a straight line during a playaction fake.

playtowinthegame
Congratulations to Schotty! He was clearly Pete Carroll's fall guy in Seattle. Thank goodness for that good ol' boy John Schneider, because that 2022 Seahawks first round pick we own will be in the top 10. 1

Greenseed4
Russell Wilson and Trevor Lawrence will will have done more for Schotty’s career than the other way around. That said, if you look at TL’s game it is predicated on a lot of screen passes, with a scatter of deep shots and designed runs. RW struck me as always being more vertical. Probably not a horrible fit tbh.

LSJF
Schotty sadly was probably our best O coordinator in years... was Chan Gailey better? Tony Sparano(RIP), Dowell Loggins, Adam Gase, John Morton, Jeremy bates... Who did I forget ? Holy crap they all sucked... 1

It was Carroll who blew it by forcing the Jamal Adams trade. Huge mistake for that franchise.
