playtowinthegame
Deebo Samuel is due for an extension from the 49ers that could present challenges during negotiations. Challenges that could create a trade scenario. This is the perfect scenario. Jets will show you the money Deebo. 1 1
Popular Post ganggreen305
Yea, why not. Offer a 7th round pick and call it a day. Lets ask for Kittle too. Throw him in there!
Rhg1084
Jets aren’t getting any of these big name WRs. Enough with the fantasies lol. And the ones in the draft aren’t anything special either 2

I love his passion. I can't believe he came back in the game after that hit in the NFC Championship game vs the Rams. He gives the offense such a toughness identity.

derp
With Lance on a rookie deal I feel like they won’t have trouble paying him, but maybe Shanahan is cocky about his ability to scheme what Deebo adds or something.
GreenFish
If they had a high priced QB, I would say yes. But they’ll be able to lock him up and move forward with Trey Lance. GB and KC have high priced QB which makes it difficult to then also lock up elite players at other positions.
jetblue95
why stop there? why not also just say pretty please to the vikings for justin jefferson and the chiefs for kelce? and while we are at it, maybe we can ask the colts for j. taylor?

IndianaJet
lol. 49ers have way too much invested in Trey Lance to start selling off his weapons...and he's going to need all the help he can get.

ScarletKnight89
The 49ers are not trading Deebo Samuel. They have a rookie QB they are going to need to give weapons to. They'll eventually move on from Jimmy G.

Definitely a bad move by Mac, but try and imagine we were a Super Bowl caliber team already with a game manager like Jimmy G, then we trade the No. 12th overall pick, a 3rd-round pick and 1st-round pick in 2022 and 2023 just to draft Trey Lance, North Dakota St. Now imagine he is a bust. That stings more than missing on a QB when you're already a dumpster fire.
TuscanyTile2
If we do pull off the miracle and trade for Deebo, he'll get the Quincy Enunwa injury within 5 games.

The same way I think the 49ers were right when they realized Jimmy G was never going to be more than a bridge type QB. I thought Lance was a huge gamble, and he might end up being a bad choice, but I don’t fault the 49ers for firing their shot. None of these college QBs are a lock to succeed in the pro game. All a team can do is their due diligence regarding them, and then hope it works out.

Rangers9
Sure who wouldn’t want Deebo on their team he’s an impact player. But he was overused by Shanahan and it showed the guy was thrown to a lot down the middle and he was regularly banged up. I kind of doubt he’s going to last long term. I don’t know how much he has left in his body esp if you use him like the Niners do.
