Dunnie
Not a perfect pass .. a bit behind him ... But he's gotta make that catch.Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
Dunnie
The receiver was open, the pass slightly behind the receiver, and the receiver got both hands on it. The play call obviously worked. That said, I run Playaction first play everytime.Yup .. well said.Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

That play wa the epitome of the game today. Just not quite good enough. Are you saying Berrios has to make a tough catch, but White doesn't have to throw a good pass?

Jimmy 2 Times
White threw a perfect throw into a tight window. If he led Barrios more it would've hit the defensive lineman. That catch has to be made. 1
Biggs
Hard to tell on that angle if the defender tipped the ball. If he did it’s still catchable but I wouldn’t call it a drop.

You're not allowed to question Mike White around here. You can compliment him, you can say he had a good game, you can say he deserves to be the starter.. But then god forbid you point out anything negative about him - then you're a troll. Definitely strange time here. There are a lot of reasons the Jets lost today - but Mike White is also on the list. 3 4

If that were Mims there is no doubt you would be saying he has to catch that ball. The bottom line is Berrios dropped a ball he should have caught. Was it a tough catch? Yes but that is what receivers get paid to do. Should we have even been going to Berrios in that situation? That is whole different question. If you are a starting NFL receiver, in that situation, you HAVE to make that catch, period.

DoubleDown
The blame needs to go to the receiver on this one. The pass wasn't perfect, but an NFL caliber receiver needs to make that catch especially with the game on the line. Berrios makes that catch 9 out of 10 times. Just a bummer of a situation. JoeNamathsFurCoat
Pass could have been better but MW was on the move and under duress Ball was in traffic but it hit Berrios in the hands and wasn’t touched by a defender
NYJCAP2
It’s a drop. The defender only gets a hand on it because the ball bounces off Berrios chest.
Larz
Berrios would say drop, MW would say bad pass because he’s the most interesting QB in the world.
68JET11
Mike White gave us a chance to win the game today, but he also threw at least 5-7 passes behind his receivers today. The only balls that were perfect were the ones that were thrown out in the flats that he laid perfectly in there and in stride. Berrios throw was a bit behind him, but he also needs to make that catch. PERIOD...

Have to.

OCCH23
I'd love to know how much time White has had to practice with the 1st team. Is it realistic to think they should already have their timing down perfectly? To where we're nitpicking 6 inches to the right?

But he is an NFL wide receiver, who got both hands on the ball for what would have been a TD to give his team a lead with 90 seconds left. Berrios has to make that catch.

Jet2020
Not the best pass but the defender never got a hand to the ball or to the receivers hands. Should’ve been caught. 2nd and goal at the 1, you qb sneak it 3 times. You don’t lose any yardage and one of the 3 plays will get you a good push. A push back really doesn’t mean negative yards with forward progress. Thats where we missed a beat. Left too many points on the ground. Too many FGs obviously. With Zach, we lose this 41-9. No chance Zach completes half those throws. Mike White make some crazy throws but wasn’t perfect. Did just enough to be able to beat the 2nd best team in the league. 3

Not good enough to take this team to the next level.

Is that all you got? White had 2 drives in the red zone and failed to score. He didn't win the game for us - not with his feet - not with his arm. And that's what 'money' QB's do. He's merely a viable backup QB. Snap out of it.

I also think they should of ran the ball 4 straight plays down there or play action with an easy dink pass to a TE. Just look at how difficult that play is from start to finish. ML has to better than that, you need perfect execution there to score on that play. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app This....three trips down there late including the drive White scored his TD on and didn't try a play action or a roll out once. those two drives were way too difficult to score on.
