Jamal clicking Like on a post that says, "Is he the perfect player? No. Far from it," tells you everything you need to know about how desperate this guy is and how much he thinks he needs to repair his reputation in the biggest city in the country. The Jets don't need him. He needs the Jets. lol

Mr. Adams should submit an application ASAP. May be he can work some concerts over the summer too. Valet? I'm sure he could park cars. BigRy56
Of course he does. He’s been an absolute nobody (but very rich) in the league since he left the Jets. The grass is not always greener

maury77
Saleh's defense is modeled on the old Seattle Legion of Boom D, so a good box safety would be nice to fill the Kam Chancellor role, but Adams has burned too many bridges with this organization (along with the fanbase but that doesn't matter).

BurntDice
Maybe can sign him for a cheap 2 year prove it deal. He plays well year 1 then ship his ass to the panthers for 2 1sts
extmenace
Pass, I’m cool with bringing former players back, but not this guy. Too big of a mouth, made things messy, and to be honest, he’s really just a pass rusher that plays safety. To use him properly, you have to put your pass defense in more stressful situations. When you send him to blitz, one less guy in coverage. When you let him play coverage, teams will attack him. He should consider changing positions, would be better as a nickel linebacker. Adams would have been a better player in the early 2000s era when safeties could be intimidators.

prime21
I cant imagine he would be a financial fit for us. If somehow he was, then of course you have to consider if he could help the team just like any other available player. I don't think he does but I leave that up to the professionals. Jetsfan80
Just a reminder: The only thing Adams does well is blitz and yet he has 0 sacks and 0 Forced Fumbles in the last 3 seasons, with only 2 QB Hits and 5 QB Knockdowns in 77 blitz attempts in that span. When targeted in coverage this season, he's allowed 80 % of passes to be completed. QBs have a 111.7 QB Rating when targeting him. Lastly, the supposed elite tackler has missed 15.8 % of tackles on the season. Only 30 players in the league have been worse in that category. 2

Larz
He would be perfect for the hybrid role Sherwood plays, but that’s a sub role. Bowles and Williams played him all over the formation, Carroll played him deep a lot and in coverage. I’ll never understand that.
