Team is young and coaching staff is only in year 2. He'll get consistency as the season goes on and both sides will suck all the time.

I’m going to try to stay patient, especially with the D.  The first half of the schedule is trial by ordeal and the Jets are going to get schooled a lot.  If they can stay healthy, there should be significant improvement thereafter.  But the O — and between the juggling on the line and an over the hill Flacco, has to help by at least giving the D a blow even if they have trouble scoring.

Honestly truly in my heart of hearts feel like we basically lost our offensive HC when Mr,. Knapp died. You cannot convince me that things wouldn’t be drastically different with a legend like that on the offensive side of things. Instead we have lefail who is inexperienced and not very sharp. There is a reason Shanahan made McDaniel the OC…

You could say that same thing about the Rex Ryan defense for a while and certainly after that - it wasn't true for Gase as it just sucked always

Second game of the season, may be too early to pack it up. The out of bounds call really killed them. Too bad.
