Tyreek Hill on the Block-Jets Involved. This is not a drill

Recommended Posts

In terms of moralizing:

Hill did serve his punishment for his incident with his now wife. I’d prefer that not be in his past but he was “punished” and took steps of improvement.

As for his kid, that’s a weird situation. No charges and no suspension means that evidence was very flimsy. I really don’t know what happened so I won’t stress myself out.

I don’t love the history of Tyreek Hill but I’ll take him at his word that he’s sought help.

So what's the back up plan??

It's Drake London isn't it

For once in my life, I'd like the Jets to actually achieve their goals with a plan "A" instead of back-up plan.  But you're right.  JD better have a couple of alt plans ready to go.

I love the player.  I still can't get over his violence toward his wife and child.  There has to be a way we can get some great players on this team who we can root for.  God I miss Al Toon.

Nor should anyone.  Hill is a complete scvmbag.

A fair point, but his value isn't purely derived from his speed.  He could lose a step and still be an elite receiver, IMO.

Correct. 1) smaller receivers age better than older receivers 2) Hill used to be “just a burner” but his game has evolved

No state income tax

Agent is based in Miami

Has great relationship with the Dolphins

I'd be surprised if we got him

Jets have better draft picks...

I found the Hughes comment about how he'd be great in the locker room...very different from my perception of the person Hill is. Maybe that's early damage control just in case. No idea.

Still don't like it.

This would destroy everything I believe about Douglas/Saleh.  Im not believing any of this.  Joe D might be in there messing around with fluff offers but I cant believe he is serious about any of this.  Not a player with hills character.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, JD has already made an offer (as has Miami).  It's apparently up to Hill to make his choice.

Hopefully Hill goes to Miami.  The guy is absolutely vile.

No mistaking a NY Jets message board from any other.

Hang out in NY and live in Miami....best of both worlds.

all true

also true

At the end of the day all we need is for Hill to not reject the Jets. He can prefer the Fins for all the reasons stated but if he's not rejecting the Jets/willing to sign an extension w/us and we offer a better deal, he's a Jet.

I expect to lose, hope to win. Mostly so I can teabag @Jetsfan80
