Jetsfan80
Wow, ok. Maybe one of like 2 non-receivers there we could have taken that I could get behind. Nice! Hopefully 1-2 of the Perriman, Doctson, Vyncint Smith and Braxton Berrios group are ready to roll! And/or we add another receiver via trade/free agency to supplement.

bealeb319
Am I wrong that hall plays zone coverage well and man coverage poor which is the opposite of what we want with Greg Williams aggressive defense? jetstream23
I’m okay with this. Still want another WR. There will be 6-7 draftable WRs in Round 6. Hall is another Bless Austin type pick. Talent but injury concerns.
fullblast
I like it! Injury caused him to slide. May still want to bring in Logan Ryan and ease Hall along slowly.

Jetsfan80
All we've got on him from a measurables perspective, but I imagine he'd be up there on the overall RAS score. Get healthy, Bryce!
Popular Post Tony The Wiz
For all that wanted a receiver, there are so many more left. Hall was the real only Quality CB left. Excellent move by Douglas. 7
jetsons
Bryce Hall.... This player did not record a RAS either due to injury, choice, or due to metrics not being recorded. He had a recorded height of 6012 that season, recorded as XYYZ where X is feet, YY is inches, and Z is eighths of an inch. That correlates to 6 feet, 1 and 2/8 of an inch or 73.25 inches, or 186.055 centimeters. This correlates to a 9.33 score out of 10.0. He recorded a weight of 202 in pounds, which is approximately 91 kilograms. This correlates to a 9.06 score out of 10.0.

Irish Jet
49th on PFF's big board. Most seem to say a late first/early second round prospect prior to injury. Like it a lot. High ceiling type. 3
nycdan
Yes, 1 only drafted 1 WR, but that is a position where there are always competent vets available before the season. Certainly there are guys as good as almost anyone you can draft in rounds 5-7. Look at our own history of guys we picked up for nothing or low draft picks. Braylon, B-Marsh and Santonio come to mind. 2

The only possible explanation I can think of is that they are gambling that some vets get cut in training camp. Here is the explanation: WR was hoarded early and often, and all the LEGIT good ones were gone (for the most part) BEFORE we even got to our 2nd Round pick. I'm not going to weep over not picking the 30th rated WR prospect. Don't get me wrong, even with Mims the Jets today are still likely the worst WR unit in the NFL, and I'm not happy about that. But sometimes it is what it is, and expecting Douglas to trade away everything to get another WR is unrealistic given how thin this team was. JD eas smart and efficient, and he's filled ALOT of desperate need holes with athletic prospects. Will they all hit, probably not. But overall it's been a very good draft. 6
