As much as I want to whine about how snake bit this franchise is to lose a promising coach and mentor to our rookie QB I have to focus on what is really important.  A family has lost a good man, a father and husband, and my heart breaks for them.  RIP coach.

I think alot of us, especially those older folks, may have that as a human nature first gut reaction, that same ol' "god damn are we just cursed?" feeling.

But you're spot on.  The NFL and more Coach Knapps family just lost someone who, by all accounts, was a good man.  In a senseless and utterly random tragedy/accident. 

It's horrid, and while we will, by human nature, see it through the prism of the Jets (it's why we're here and know who he is in the first place, after all), the human tragedy here should in fact reign supreme, at least for a little while.

RIP Coach.  Sorry we never really got to know you.

I’m far younger…but I was just looking to get into biking as recently as a week ago.  This whole incident has me re-evaluating that.

I ride a bicycle in a residential neighborhood and many don’t pay attention, most are texting and driving. 
I was going to buy a Harley-Davidson when I retired my wife said buy a burial plot too. Most people driving on the roads today have no regard for anyone but themselves. Pay attention put the phone down and save a life it may be your own.

I really hope so…but by the sounds of it in her follow up tweet, it sounds like his best friend jumped the gun and said something he shouldn’t have.  As we all know, the things leaking out about DMX were true…still praying for a miracle though.
