If anything, maybe some Jet fans feel beaten down and they deal with it by always expecting the worst (and maybe laugh at it as a way of dealing with the situation). But that doesn't mean that they're rooting for the worst. I can buy this. Likely most negative Jets fans fall in this bucket. There are the keyboard GMs too. Fans that did their youtube scouting and wanted player X but the Jets drafted player Y. And now they want to be proving right.

Dime a dozen……. Thats laughable. Oline is a VERY difficult position to fill. We haven’t been able to do it well in near a decade. Im with your theory. I LOVE our draft. BUT lets not pretend OLINE is readily available.

Popular Post Warfish
A massive disappointment. Re-injury after loss of a year, facing (potentially, I should stress) another surgery and another lost year? What a shame. Kid has such potential, even if he wasn't my first choice that draft. Whelp, guess it's likely time to move on now. He got his 2nd chance, and his body just isn't up to the rigors it would seem. Or he just has the worst luck ever, either way. Sign whomever is available, and lets move on. Next man up. No excuses.
Popular Post varjet
The call was to pick up the T early to protect the QB if there was any doubt about Becton. Fant is also on his last year, so the T pick could have been justified too. At CB we had Hall and Reed and could have done without Sauce, although we liked him. Taking another T would have looked bad for JD. He should have admitted the mistake and fixed it. I said before that losing a ton of weight right before camp was not necessarily healthy or sustainable. He should been losing weight from November gradually while gradually building flexibility and strength. Carrying all that weight for the last 10 months was not good for him. The Jets are stuck with Becton this year and next year. There will be no 5th year option. 4 1

No way that knee was holding up through an NFL season - This should force JD's hand to sign Brown (or trade for a T that is capable of completing a season) If Becton is healthy this year - use him as a swing tackle - limit his reps - have him in on short yardage situations. Let him strengthen that knee and maybe he'll be ready to move into a starting role for the playoffs... 1
NewGuyJet
I can't believe Bechton had a setback, possibly minor, in early August. There's obviously no way he'll be able to play football at any point between September and January.

David Harris
Experts estimate that for every 1 pound you weigh, your knees feel the force of 3 pounds of pressure when you take a step. —So losing 10 pounds will result in 30 pounds less pressure per knee.
